Banking
The
members of the Firm have acted on behalf of various Pakistani
and foreign banks and our practice provides advice in relation
to the full spectrum of financial products including lending
& acquisition finance, asset finance, project finance,
financial regulatory, insolvency & restructuring and
structured finance.
As
such we are fully abreast with current finance and banking
developments and are able to advise on the formulation and
implementation of banking products and financial instruments
and engage in the preparation and review of financing and
security documents.
We
have experience and expertise in most types of financing
transactions, and the major areas of our banking practice
include advising banks, other financiers and borrowers on a
broad range of credit facilities, from straightforward
bilateral facilities to complex syndicated structured
financings; advising both lenders and borrowers and representing banks, other
institutional lenders, venture capitalists, other investors
and management teams in acquisition finance loans, tender
offers, leveraged buyouts, leveraged recapitalisations and
refinancings; advising banks, leasing companies, operating
lessors, manufacturers and service providers in relation to
all major types of financing for assets; providing practical
commercial advice on the successful structuring and
implementation of projects in various sectors; advising on
legal and regulatory issues and prospective legislation
affecting banks and financial institutions, including the
rules of regulatory organizations; and representing our
clients in litigation, including but not limited to recovery
cases and conducting disciplinary matters before regulatory
authorities.
